Points4Purpose Celebrates Micro-Donating Platform
Points4Purpose – with its mission to for people to micro-donate to charities – hosted a fabulous event in Miami Beach for the grand launch of its new rewards and micro-charity donation platform, “Community Rewards” at Urbanica Fifth Hotel. VIP guests — including Zoe Chin Loy & husband, Latin fashion influencer Jose Ibarra, celebrity stylist Paloma Balvin, Latin fashion media host Lesquel Navas and Dancer/ VMA Winner Sammy Hawk, Points4Purpose’s Chief Operating Officer James Trocme and company’s founder Ivan Schwartz, Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade County president Dr. Karine Melissa — came together to celebrate this new micro-philanthropy technology platform designed to help local businesses and shoppers seamlessly and automatically micro-donate to charity with every retail purchase.
This new AI-powered rewards program has recently come to the Miami shopping retail market to help make Miami a more giving community. The platform is working with over 5,000 online and bricks and mortar retail brands and other stores and over 1 million U.S. registered charities.
“We’re partnering with Miami-Dade Animal Services, JuanFe Foundation, 305 Pink Pack and the National Alliance of Mental Health Miami-Dade (NAMI) as some of our local featured charities for our Miami launch,” says Trocme. “We’re excited to promote these charities and causes while shaking up the payments and rewards sectors by fundamentally infusing micro-giving into everyday financial transactions. This means whether shoppers donate 10 cents, 50 cents, or five dollars, every time they purchase their weekly groceries or pet food, their consistent micro-donations have the capacity to create a positive impact in the South Florida community.”
