This year, one of the New World School of the Arts College theater projects explores human accountability and the repercussions of acting – or not – in a way that is compatible with Catholic teachings, in Everyman by Anonymous, adapted by Carol Ann Duffy. “Likely written by a member of the catholic clergy, Everyman was originally performed under the auspices of the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages as a tool to hold humans accountable for their actions on earth,” explained James Randolph, theater faculty member at New World School of the Arts and director of the play that will be performed by the NWSA college juniors.
