American Women Rebuilding France

The Coral Gables Museum, in conjunction with the Franco American Museum, celebrated the opening of American Women Rebuilding France, Anne Morgan’s War with 100 people in attendance. The exhibition brings to life the extraordinary work undertaken between 1917 and 1924 by 350 American woman. This all-volunteer corps left comfortable lives in the U.S. to devote themselves to humanitarian aid in France. The exhibit features vintage photographs and rare silent film footage. and runs through November 28, 2015.
