The Real Time Host Will Appear at The Fillmore on January 24
Those who relish Bill Maher’s perfect mix of comedy and politics don’t need to rely on their HBO accounts for a taste of the TV star: The Real Time host will take the stage on Sunday, January 24 at 8 p.m. for “An Evening With Bill Maher” at the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach, for what is sure to be a night of laughs, gasps, and lots of jabs aimed at the presidential primary race.
A renowned political satirist, Maher has made a very successful career based on his special brand of comedy. Never one to shy away from controversial topics, he has marked himself as comedian who has spent his entire career pushing the boundaries of political correctness, and his fans love him for it. His combination of unflinching honesty and laughs has garnered him a total of 23 Emmy nominations throughout his illustrious television career.
A self-proclaimed atheist, Bill Maher also wrote and starred in the 2008 documentary “Religulous,” which still stands today as one of the top 20 highest grossing documentaries ever in the U.S.
