Dressed in their racing finery, supporters of the Ann Storck Center flocked to the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino for Rock The Race: A Kentucky Derby Bash. The 135th running of the Derby was displayed on a hugh flat screen while guests sipped Mint Juleps and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres. The event was chaired by Nicole Fraser with Seminole Hard Rock & Casino and Dawn Read with Winterfest. A one-of-a-kind Derby Hat Contest drew Win, Place and Show recognition with the Win going to “Hard Hat Couture,” designed by Expressive Design, Inc. and sponsored by Harlow Furniture Solutions. Creative guests designed their own Derby hats at the Rad Hatter for the “People’s Choice” competition.
