Arsht Center Kicks Off Miami’s Arts Season

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, in partnership with the local arts community, celebrated its box office opening and the start of the South Florida arts season with ArtsLaunch2015, a day full of fun activities for the community, presented by American Airlines. The day featured ArtsTalk2025, a community cultural conversation; samplings of menu items from the Center’s on-site restaurants; a Mini Comic Book Convention; performances by the Center’s resident companies – Florida Grand Opera, Miami City Ballet, New World Symphony and The Cleveland Orchestra; walking tours of the Ziff Ballet Opera House and the Knight Concert Hall; fun and artsy activities for the whole family; screening of three Miami-Made Movies; and much more.
