Solea at W South Beach

Soleà, the latest venture from noted Miami-based restaurant group KNR Food Concepts, celebrated its Grand Opening at the new W South Beach. Miami’s finest, including Karim Masri, Nicola Siervo, Alain Altit and Jillian Jacobson-Altit, Chef Allan Susser and Dewey Losasso, mixed and mingled as they were introduced to Soleà’s inspired menu of fresh Mediterranean flavors and casual ambiance mixed with W style and South Beach’s laid-back attitude. The menu is influenced by a variety of cuisines that touch the Mediterranean Sea with a focus on Spanish and Greek. Local Miami talents Executive Chef Michael Gilligan and Chef de Cuisine Arthur Artiles have collaborated on the menus.

South Beach Arts Institute in Miami Beach

Tucked away in a charming nook adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center and Miami Beach Botanical Garden is the SoBe Arts Institute (SoBe Arts) located in the historic Carl Fisher Clubhouse, Little Stage Theater and neighboring park.

This little gem, which is supported by the City of Miami Beach, is a fine example of Miami Beach’s commitment to the artistic growth of Miami-Dade County as a whole. Headed by Executive Director Carson Kievman, the organization has focused upon the long-term need to develop opportunities for quality performance events and arts education.
