The Archdiocese of Miami will celebrate 50 years with its Jubilee Gala, being held October 18 at the newly renovated Fontainebleau Hilton. In honor of this golden anniversary, friends and supporters of the Archdiocese were treated to back-to-back teas to kick off the upcoming gala. Couturier Ivonne de la Vega held a private showing of her latest evening gowns at a Dessert & Champagne gathering in her Las Olas Shop. Special honorees at this event were Marta Prado and Bunny Bastian, who is chair of the Jubilee Gala. The next day, Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland and Chopard Jewelry held a High Tea to honor Bunny Bastian. Chopard featured a trunk show of their fine jewelry and watches at the event.
