Behind the Magic – A Big Success!
Meet the Team who Made the Magic
Behind the Magic’s two-day Gala Tablescape and Culinary Art Showcase welcomed more than 400 guests who met design and catering teams, oohed and aahed over the spectacular gala presentations and delicious taste treats offered by seven top catering firms, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Held at Private Key, a unique 10,000 square-foot venue in the Wynwood Art District, chairs and committee members representing South Florida’s top gala events mingled with event planners and nonprofit professionals on Thursday night at a private reception to kick off the 2016-2017 social season and celebrate SocialMiami’s 10th annual Gala Guide. Guests vied for two tickets to opening night of The Illusionists at The Arsht Center in October, compliments of Broadway Across America. And Beaux Arts, whose supporters came out in full force, won the drawing for $5,000 in cash. Said co-president Kim Wood, “This donation will allow the organization to invite and transport students from local schools to the 66th Annual Beaux Arts Festival that takes place in January.”
The event was planned and executed by Source Miami’s Suzanne Pallot, joined by 3 Pillars Events, Panache Classic Event & Tent Rentals, ArtFood Staffing, Manny Hernandez and his All Access Photo Booth, Jeren Tropicals, Aquacai Water and Southern Wine & Spirits who provided the wine. The caterers were: A Joy Wallace Catering |Design |Special Events; Aaron’s Catering by Chef Brian Aaron; Big Chef; Bill Hansen Luxury Catering & Event Production; Chef David Schwadron Cuisine & Event Design; Creative Edge Parties; and Thierry Isambert Culinary & Event Design.
Gala designs were created by Deco Productions & Grande Affaires; Ines Naftali Floral & Event Design Studio; Jose Graterol Design; Just To Please You; So Cool Events; The Design Group of Miami; Thierry Isambert; Creative Edge Parties; Chef David Schwadron; Bill Hansen; and Joy Wallace.
Guests at the private reception on Thursday evening and those who attended the second day were asked to vote for their favorite gala table. The People’s Choice winner for both days was Thierry Isambert Culinary & Event Design!
Hosts SocialMiami.com and Source Miami wish to thank all their partners and the industry professionals who made the event such a success.
