Big Brother Big Sisters of Miami Awards $300,000 in Scholarships
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami recently celebrated 300 of its beneficiaries’ high school graduation and transition to higher education. At the celebration, held at the Adrienne Arsht Center, the nonprofit youth mentoring organization awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to the “Littles,” who are heading off to college despite once being considered at-risk youths. Little Sister Monet Guardado also won a new car. Congratulations to all the graduates!
