Boys & Girls Clubs Of Broward’s Rendezvous
The 29th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Rendezvous founded by Rita & Rick Case>/b> and led by Event Chairs Christy & Larry Hierholzer, returned to Fisher Island Club for a “Weekend in Wonderland.” Kicking off the festivities was the Dine Around the Docks Yacht Hop event on Thursday, followed on Friday by a daytime St. John’s fashion show in the Vanderbilt Courtyard and a Mad Hatter’s themed party with gourmet food stations at night. On Saturday guests joined Boys & Girls Clubs members for a BBQ. Then the Admirals, a group of supporters who donate $50,000 annually, enjoyed an invite-only cocktail party before the Queen of Hearts’ Red Ball Gala. Emceed by Shaquille O’Neal’s mother Lucille, Christine Lynn was inducted into the Dream Makers Society, and guests rocked the house to the music of Huey Lewis and The News. Proceeds from the weekend benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the more than 12,500 youth it serves.
