Hundreds of the community’s activists, business leaders and philanthropists were in attendance on March 14 for “Bridge to the Stars ‘Arabian Nights’” — the signature fundraising event for Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services, Inc., Miami-Dade County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned youth.
The whimsical gala — which took place at The Temple House on Miami Beach — has annually been hailed as one of the most unique of the season — and the cause itself as one of the most pivotal in South Florida. This year’s edition transported attendees to an enchanted evening in the mystical setting of ancient Arabia, complete with belly dancers and a hookah lounge. Top-tier sponsors of the event included Coastal Construction and BenTrust Financial as well as Bacardi.
