Central Park Conservatory Hat Luncheon and Maison BARNES

Two New York events so forceful they drew in Miami society.

42nd Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon

Known as the Central Park Hat Luncheon, the event to benefit The Central Park Conservancy is filled with a sea of philanthropists, celebrities and notable personalities — all 1350 of them well-dressed and wearing hats. But even though the price of admission is lofty – tickets start at $1500 and soar past $3000 – securing a seat requires being a member of the Women’s Committee or receiving an invitation from one. Still, a big slice of Miami’s social set was in attendance, many captured by the lens of major publications including the New York Times, New York Social Diary, Women’s Wear Daily, the New York Post’s Page Six and of course, SocialMiami.

Café Boulud and Maison BARNES

Renowned chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud formed a new partnership with the hospitality division of BARNES International Realty, hosting a party that was filled not only with New York’s elite — including Chef Boulud and Al Roker — but also a top tier crowed from Miami including artist Romero Britto. BARNES is based in Paris but it’s founders Heidi Barnes and Thibault de Saint Vincent are based in Miami.

The main restaurant Café Boulud will open in late 2023 followed by Maison BARNES, which will open in 2024. Maison BARNES will be an elegant ensemble of a bar, a dining salon and private dining rooms, as well as a speakeasy and a wine cellar table combining distinctive culinary experiences with artistic and cultural programs centered on craftsmanship and Art de Vivre.

“BARNES is delighted to partner with Chef Daniel Boulud for Maison BARNES at its prestigious Park Avenue address,” said company president de Saint Vincent. “Chef Daniel Boulud embodies the codes of French cuisine at its finest and shares our quest for excellence in creating memorable life moments and experiences.”
