Paws4You Rescue, a Miami-based animal rescue organization, raised $75,000 at its second annual casino-themed fundraising gala, “Chopard Presents Diamonds are Forever,” held at The Coral Gables Country Club. The black-tie event honored long-time supporters Swanee and Paul DiMare, along with David Cone, former New York Yankees pitcher celebrating the 20th anniversary of his perfect pitching season and publication of a book co-authored with Yankees analyst Jack Curry, and “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star and New York Times best-selling author, Teresa Giudice. Guests enjoyed a dinner buffet and libations. casino-themed games, and live entertainment presented by a dance group who performed a show stopping dance routine to “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.” A riveting live auction offered guests the chance to bid on prizes that included a Chopard Happy Sport watch in 18-carat rose gold and two diamond bracelets by jeweler Jeffrey Rackover sold at Bergdorf Goodman.
