Each year, the Concert Association of Florida features an impressive array of stars from the classical music and dance world. Concert programs include the Sanford L. Ziff Prestige Series at the Carnival Center at Knight Concert Hall, Arsht Great Performers, The Premier Series at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Fidelity Investments’ Great Orchestra Series at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and the Dolores and Sanford Ziff Dance Series at The Dolores and Sanford Ziff Ballet Opera House featuring the American Ballet Theatre.

Concert Association of Florida kicked off South Florida’s highly anticipated return of one of the world’s most revered and innovative dance companies, the American Ballet Theatre, with a December 13th cocktail reception at the home of Adrienne Arsht. Welcomed by Michael Aller, Director of Tourism for Miami Beach, more than 100 guests gathered in an intimate setting at the Arsht home, the ambience reflective of the wedding theme for the black-tie Dinner Gala to follow the March 15th performance of ‘The Sleeping Beauty.”

Concert Association’s CEO, Albert Milano, heightened the enthusiasm with his announcement to expect the same set of principal dancers this year, including Jose Manuel Carreno and a company of ninety dancers strong performing with full symphony orchestra. Based on the spectacular success of last year’s Gala following American Ballet Theatre’s “Swan Lake,” this Season’s “Aurora’s Wedding,” promises to be the wedding party no one wants to miss.

Say, “I do,” and save the date for “Aurora’s Wedding” Reception Gala Dinner immediately following American Ballet Theatre’s Saturday, March 15, 2008 Carnival Center performance of “The Sleeping Beauty.” True love’s kiss awakens the sleeping beauty from eternal slumber, but the party begins as the ballet’s curtain closes. It’s a bride’s dream come true in a formal, elegant, festive and fun dinner reception featuring stellar guests and a legendary location.

Destination location for the wedding party is imprinted with history in the magnificent Mediterranean Revival style Main Hall of Miami’s famous Freedom Tower.
