A monument to honor the members of the 2506 Brigade Liberation Air Force who perished during the invasion of the Bay of Pigs in 1961 will be dedicated at Kendall-Tamiami Airport. An obelisk, blue and white bands of the Cuban flag and a restored B-26 fighter will be the permanent tribute to these pilots and aircraft technicians.
