Dancing For Cured
Three hundred guests gathered at Bongos Cuban Café for the 2009 fundraiser of the UM Miller School of Medicine’s Department of Urology. Singer Jon Secada, famed bongo player Tany Gil, Univision stars Lili Estefan and Raul De Molina were on hand to show their support, along with a surprise visit from renowned trumpet player Arturo Sandoval. Guests enjoyed an endless Latin buffet and wines of Spain as more than $100,000 was raised for the department’s Center for Urologic Research, Education and Diseases (CURED).
