Domino4Paws with Artist David “Lebo” Le Batard
Paws 4 You, a non-profit animal rescue organization, hosted its first Domino4Paws Fundraiser at the Gibson Miami showroom in Wynwood with celebrated artist and one of the organization’s strongest supporters, David “LEBO” Le Batard. About 100 guests, including artists Carlos Solano and King Redd, along with philanthropists Norma Jean Abraham, Frank and Ann Rubino, Cynthia Greene and Max Shinefield, Ron and Rita Magill and former UM President Donna Shalala, enjoyed complimentary cocktails and Latin American cuisine and pastries, Mariachi bands, Miami-based band Cortadito performing live Cuban-inspired music, character drawings, illusionists, live art and a Cuban-style domino tournament.. The winners of the domino tournament, Luis Angulo and Jorge Hernandez, received hand-painted domino sets.. Nearly $20,000 was raised for Paws4You’s mission of saving dogs from the threat of euthanasia in Miami-Dade County.
