Duck Duck Goose Wows in Wynwood
Epilepsy Foundation of South Florida
Chefs, mixologists, philanthropists and other fowl-loving foodies gathered for the first ever Duck Duck Goose, created by Jeremiah Bullfrog, chef/owner of gastroPod Miami and mastermind behind the popular PIG (Pork is Good) event. Bullfrog and his cadre of 12 knife-slingers showed off their creativity and skill with locally raised and pastured fowl. The event, attended heavily by local restaurant and bar industry honchos, raised funds to benefit The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. The star-studded lineup of South Florida culinary stars included Brad Kilgore of Alter; Will Crandall of Izzy’s Fish & Oyster; James Strine of Cafe Boulud in West Palm Beach; Patrick Rebholz of Quality Meats; Phuket Thongsodchaveondee (Cake) of Cake Thai; Gabriel Ask of Faena Hotel; Aaron Brooks of Edge Steak and Bar; Steve Santana of Taquiza; Brian Mullins of Ms. Cheezious; Babe Froman of Babe Froman Fine Sausages; and Josh Gripper of The Dutch.
