New World School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra celebrates its annual concert under the direction of Alfred Gershfeld, offering masterworks including: Mendelssohn’s Fifth Symphony Reformation and a grand soloist of the cello, Lynn Harrell. Applauded as one of the finest cellists today, Harrell has performed with major symphony orchestras around the world.
