UPDATE: This event has been postponed due to Hurricane Irma.

Join the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science on its Museum Plaza for Take Flight with Kites during Art Days 2017 and learn about the history of kites and how they fly. Make a kite and then flex your creative muscles alongside local artist Kerry Phillips to decorate your kite and make it your own. Launch your kite with friends and family in Museum Park after your visit to Frost Science. Guests will also get to experience Florida Power & Light Companys Cooling Station. Take a moment to chill out by walking into a larger-than-life ice cube that refreshes with music and a cold blast of CO2, along with a video souvenir of your experience. This event takes place outside. Sunblock is highly recommended. Kite workshop and cooling station is free. Admission rates apply for museum entry.
