Join the Bakehouse for a family friendly day of art, tech, and science as it celebrate the kick-off of its 18-month odyssey to the Knight Arts Challenge winning Atlantis Miami Art Hack. Atlantis Miami will feature artists and exhibitors explaining, exploring, and looking for possible solutions to the problem of sea level rise in Miami through kid friendly activities involving art, science, and tech. Activities will include everything from craft making and water play, to 3D printing projects and hands-on science experiments. The BAC will also open an Atlantis Miami exhibition featuring works from Xavier Cortada’s Clima and the interactive Submerged installation from Home Eleven, mimicking the feeling of a future underwater world. Admission is free of charge for Bakehouse Family Members and $5 for all non-members.
