Bright Room Called Day
Concerts & PerformancesNew World School of the Arts will launch the 2016-2017 theater season of events with the poignant play A Bright Room Called Day by American playwright Tony Kushner – also presented at NWSA by the college division in 2007. The play asks questions such as ‘How could a man like Adolf Hitler get into power’, ‘How do we define evil’ and ‘How dangerous is complacency’. Prior to the Opening Night performance, NWSA will host a reception and present its first ever Alumni Recognition Award to actor Natasha Tsakos (NWSA BFA 2000). Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. General admission is $12; student and senior tickets are $5.
