New World School of the Arts continues its 30th Anniversary celebratory mood with the classic American teenage musical by Michael Stewart, Bye Bye Birdie – with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Lee Adams. With a cast of close to thirty NWSA High School music theater students, NWSA theater faculty member Matthew Buffalo directs this popular teenage musical inspired by none other than the “King of Rock and Roll,” Elvis Presley. Tickets are $12 and for seniors and students $5.
