It is Christmas Eve. A blanket of snow covers the city of Nuremberg, a bright Christmas star glows in the sky, and Marie and her Nutcracker Prince are about to embark on an unexpected journey to a winter wonderland of enchantment! Miami City Ballet proudly presents George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® – the perfect holiday treat for the entire family featuring dancing snowflakes, the Sugar Plum Fairy, an epic battle between heroic toy soldiers and mischievous mice, and a blizzard of snow!
