The New World School of the Arts visual arts division will open the fall season with a celebratory Alumni Exhibition, Drawing + Painting with a dozen artists coming home to display their work during the school’s 30th Anniversary year-long celebration. Curated by NWSA dean of visual arts Maggy Cuesta and painting and drawing professor Aramis O’Reilly, the exhibition highlights the work of graduate artists from the high school and college program. Among other exhibiting artists are Hernan Bas, Lisa Torske, Loriel Beltran, Michael Vasquez, Jen Stark and Chat Travieso. The exhibition will be on view through December 13. Free and open to the public.
