Inspired by Doris Salcedo, IlluminArts presents David Lang’s Pulitzer Prize winning piece the little match girl passion, directed by R. B. Schlather. The staging will be created in the Perez Art Museum Miami auditorium as a live event over one week with rehearsals open to museum visitors. The culminating performance will feature an all-star cast led by soprano Anne Carolyn Bird. Rehearsals: May 27–31, 1– 4 p.m.; performance: June 2, 7 p.m. Space is limited. First come, first seated.
