Renowned artist Polly Apfelbaum will give an overview of her work and explain her practice of “life on the floor.” She will detail her most recent years of work influenced by her time spent at the American Academy in Rome. Apfelbaum will explain her recent works woven in Oaxaca, Mexico while also putting her expansive floor work, Mojo Jojo, into context. Mojo Jojo, 2001, is currently on view at Perez Art Museum Miami in the Routes of Influence exhibition. Free and open to the public.
