Guests at the Spring Fling Fashion Show
More than 300 guests at the second annual Spring Fling and Floral Fashion Show benefit for The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida were treated to a creative catwalk featuring recognizable residents and fabulous flowers. The festivities at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort were hosted by NBC6 anchor Julia Yarbough and Coast 97.3 FM disc jockey Kenny Walker who welcomed the crowd and introduced the models. Local celebrities, such as NBC6 reporter Roxanne Vargas, Coast 97.3 FM disc jockeys Tamara G and Julie Guy, Broward County Mayor Stacy Ritter, Miss America Touch of Class 2008 Becky Willard, and Imani Jones, a Wish child who wished to be a model, took to the runway donning outrageous outfits fashioned from bags of blossoms.
