The Womens Fund Miami-Dades annual luncheon, Power of the Purse Powering our Community to Change the World, has been one of Miamis most anticipated events for more than 20 years, and is consistently recognized as having the whos who of Miami-Dade County in attendance. Over 800 executives, business owners, community leaders, public officials and philanthropic guests are expected to attend on Friday, April 27 at the Hilton Miami Downtown.

A highlight of the luncheon is the legendary Power of the Purse Silent Auction, which features designer and one-of-a-kind purses, jewelry, fine wine, home accessories, and travel, lifestyle and entertainment packages. About The Womens Fund of Miami Dade

The Womens Fund Miami-Dades mission is to improve the lives of women and girls in our county. We take action based on our core belief: All women and girls have the right to equal access to economic security, freedom from violence, equal access to leadership and education, and the right to choose regarding their healthcare. After more than twenty years empowering women and girls by supporting hundreds of innovative programs, we are now focused on collaboration, bringing together like-minded funders, community organizations and individuals to use our collective power to create change in policy and practice. Our goal remains the same: to create a just and safe Miami-Dade, where power and possibility arent limited by gender.
