Girl Scouts Council of Tropical Florida hosted its 7th Annual Girls’ Night Out at Fisher Island, organized by the Girl Scout Women’s Advisory Group co-chaired by Veranda Dickens, Sharon King and Marcia Dunn, all residents of Fisher Island. The evening began with cocktails and a silent auction at the Vanderbilt Mansion, followed by private dinners sponsored by Gala Cohen, June Kimmel, Sharon King, Harriet Lassin and Barbara Zweig. The local Girl Scout chapter serves over 22,000 girls between the ages of 5 and 17 years old. Girl Scouts is where girls learn to believe in themselves, make lifelong friendships, recognize their strengths and see a future of exciting possibilities. Girls’ Night Out was also supported by Flagler Development.
