The Williams Island Tennis Club is a premier destination for every tennis enthusiast. Members enjoy 15 clay courts and one hard court, all of which are lighted for evening play. Private, semi-private and weekly scheduled tennis clinics are available from USPTA teaching professionals.

For those with networking and social aspirations, Williams Island Tennis offers tennis social round robins on a monthly basis, as well as competitive tournaments such as club championships, a USPTA Masters Tournament, USTA men’s and women’s leagues and inter-club tennis matches to accommodate every member’s schedule and preference.

The Juniors Program runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Stop by the tennis courts and see these future stars in action!

The Tennis Club encompasses well-equipped men’s and ladies’ locker-rooms, which feature showers, toiletries, fresh towels and lockers. Complimentary coffee, tea and PowerAde are available. The Pro Shop offers a wide assortment of tennis gear, sportswear and accessories from top brands, as well as Williams Island logo apparel. And in keeping with the luxury spirit, a tennis matchmaking concierge is available to arrange games for members.

Williams Island is also home to 18-time Grand Slam Champion, tennis legend Fred Stolle. Ranking seventh on the all-time list of champions, Stolle was a member of Australia’s Davis Cup teams from 1964 until 1967, where he won 13 of the 14 matches while playing on four victorious teams. His tremendous talents earned him the ranking of number one in the world in 1966. He is the male record-holder for the most post-war finals appearances at Wimbledon. He is a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Australian Tennis Hall of Fame and the Australian Sports Hall of Fame.
