Goodwill South Florida hosts “A BEHIND THE SCENES” Virtual Tour

Meet the Miami-Dade County employer that's training, empowering and hiring people with disabilities.

Let us introduce you to Goodwill Industries, South Florida by showing you what happens behind the scenes.

Ever wondered Who makes our U.S. Military troop’s uniforms? Who washes 92,000 lbs. of linens & gowns daily for our local hospitals? Who cleans over 115 federal, state and local buildings? What happens to the stuff you donate?

If so, you’ll want to be introduced to the largest employer in Miami-Dade County — one that’s also training, empowering and hiring people with disabilities.

Join our “Behind the Scenes Virtual Tour” for an opportunity to engage with and connect to Goodwill, one of America’s most recognized social enterprises!

Join our Chair Barbara Shrut, our President & CEO David Landsberg and our vice president of marketing Lourdes de la Mata-Little — along with a few other board members — as we watch a fascinating VIP Behind the Scenes Tour of Goodwill South Florida.

Sign up, grab some lunch and be prepared to say, “Wow, I had no idea!”

We will be open for chatroom conversation and Q&A’s.

This virtual tour is free but of course, we gladly welcome any donation. The more cash gifts we receive, the more people with disabilities that we help. Goodwill South Florida reinvests 96 percent of revenue to fund programs that help train, employ and place people with disabilities and other barriers in jobs.
