Honoring YoungArts Award winner Emily Damasco
In celebration of the 2018 Max Mara Young Visionary Award winner Emily Damasco (2018 Winner in Voice), Max Mara hosted an exclusive reception at their Design District store. YoungArts Board Chair Sarah Arison and Board Trustee Danielle Garno welcomed guests and spoke about the importance of such opportunities that open new doors for young artists. Emily said of the acknowledgement: “I would like to thank the National YoungArts Foundation and Max Mara for this amazing opportunity. They helped me value all kinds of aspects of art through the involvement of different disciplines, including my own.” Alexis Aimé (2010 Winner in Voice) performed a beautiful two-song set with accompanist Beiyao Ji.
