YoungArts at ONE
YoungArts x ONE Sotheby’s exhibition opening

YoungArts at ONE is the second exhibition as part of the art program ONE Is Where The Art Is by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, in collaboration with the National YoungArts Foundation. At the opening reception Daniel de la Vega welcomed guests and introduced speakers YoungArts President and CEO Carolina Garcia Jayaram, Cathy Leff and four of the exhibiting artists: Frederick Rapp, Henry Rojas, Harley Walker and Alexander Wong. Following the talk, guests mingled while enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres. The exhibition features work by eight 2018 YoungArts winners in Design Arts, Photography and Visual Arts. The pieces selected participate in multi-layered conversations and explore complex topics such as loneliness, masculinity, societal inequalities, mental illness and the coexistence of natural and manufactured entities. Other works examine moments from our past with nostalgia and longing. The selection of works represents some of the region’s most promising emerging artists and we thank them for sharing their artistry with us.
