The Pap Corps, Champions for Cancer Research Makes A Big Splash
A who’s who from Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton converged upon the famed Turnberry Marina & Turnberry Isle Condominium to learn how they can help support the mission of The Pap Corps, Champions for Cancer Research. The Inaugural Yacht Hop and Waterside Soiree attracted 350 attendees who enjoyed a dazzling evening, featuring performances by Jon Boogz and The Aqualillies. The evening’s emcees, WFOR’s Lisa Petrillo and 790 The Sports Ticket’s Brett Romberg, offered compelling insights and ways to support the organization which has raised over $110 million in research funds for Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, including a historic pledge in 2016 dedicating The Pap Corps Campus at Sylvester in Deerfield Beach.
During the evening, The Pap Corps showcased a moving video which encapsulated their history and mission. With this first major public event, the organization is reaching out beyond their base of 20,000 members in over 55 chapters to touch upon new volunteers who can show their support in any number of ways.
