It’s undeniable: an orchestra is an essential element in creating the magic of a Miami City Ballet performance. Live music enhances the passion, energy and enchantment of a ballet for both you and the dancers.
It was the generosity of patrons that made it possible for Miami City Ballet to perform with a live orchestra. Now they need your help to ensure that the high level of artistry provided by Opus One Orchestra will once again resound from the pit during Programs I-IV of the 08-09 Season. Orchestral accompaniment is one of the largest expenses for a ballet company.
