Marlins Junior Team Is In World Series

Miami Marlins Junior RBI Baseball Team has made it to the World Series in Minnesota. The team went 4-1 in the Southeast RBI Regional Tournament. It will be the Marlins RBI Junior Divisions 3rd time advancing to the World Series in the last 5 years. Gianlucca Borelly, a student from Hialeah High School, went 4-4 and Eddy Nodarse from Hialeah Gardens High School threw a complete game 3 – hitter in the championship game. The RBI program was created to revive baseball in inner cities and give those students the opportunity to continue to play baseball in the summer.
