In honor and celebration of Miami City Ballet’s Manhattan Debut at New York City Center, Lora and Fred Drasner (pictured) held an extraordinary evening of festivities. The evening included an invitation-only, black-tie pre-performance dinner followed by Miami City Ballet’s opening performance, featuring “Rubies,” Square Dance, and Symphony in C. Following the performance, a champagne and dessert reception was held in the mezzanine lobby of New York City Center. Miami City Ballet held six performances at New York City Center. The theater has long been known and beloved by New York audiences not only as one of the City’s preeminent performing art institutions but also as an accessible and welcoming venue for dance and theater.
