Moca/Vanity Fair Reception

More than 3,000 art lovers packed North Miami’s Museum of Contemporary Art to celebrate the start of Art Basel Miami Beach week with the annual MOCA & VANITY FAIR/VANITY FAIR INTERNATIONAL party. The event marked the opening of Jonathan Meese: Sculpture, the first major solo museum exhibition in the United States for the German artist focusing on his three-dimensional. Guests also enjoyed MOCA’s exhibition, Bruce Weber: Haiti/Little Haiti featuring 150 of Bruce Weber’s photographs chronicling the Haitian community in Miami over the last seven years. Both exhibitions are part of MOCA’s Knight Exhibition Series.

Museum Executive Director and Chief Curator Bonnie Clearwater and Ingrid Sischy and Sandra Brant of Vanity Fair International welcomed guests who included Calvin Klein and singer Ricky Martin, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation President and CEO Alberto Ibarguen and wife Susana, top collectors Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz and Irma and Norman Braman, MOCA Board Chair Michael Collins and his wife Sandy.
