“I believe in play, creativity and imagination and the Miami Children’s Museum has all of that,” she said. “So, when Debbie Spiegelman asked us to chair, Neisen and I were delighted.”

Ana looks to the heavens for her style. “I am a Gemini and very capricious,” she said. “Some days I’m in red and some days black. I also love prints and fun pieces of clothing.”

Deborah Spiegelman

Debbie is the CEO and executive director of Miami Children’s Museum. An innovative leader, she works closely with the board of directors and Studio MCM gala committee to ensure a successful signature fundraiser. Debbie has been with MCM for 22 years and director since 2000.

Just prior to Erika’s photo shoot, she attended her child’s elementary school career day as a mom.

A mother of two, Erika understands the importance of early childhood education and feels the Miami Children’s Museum’s mission, programs and exhibits are objectives she wants to support. In her role as a board member, Erika introduces her friends to the institution and relishes the responsibility of helping to plan the museum’s future.

Fashionably speaking, Erika loves classics and basics, and although she defines her style sense as traditional, she admits that every now and then it’s fun to stretch out and wear something that is unexpected from her wardrobe.
