Christy Martin is a Miami native and graduate of Lourdes Academy and Florida International University. Wife of real estate developer, Terra Group’s David Martin, the couple recently had their second child a mere eight weeks ago – which makes her stunning photo from this shoot all the more spectacular.

On the fashion front, Martin appreciates looks that are sexy and classy. “I love things that are trendy,” she said, “but I don’t get too trendy.”

The Martins are passionate in their service to the American Cancer Society and have been involved with the non-profit for four years after the loss of a good friend to the disease.

Her music choices are simple. She loves hip hop and listens to it when she drives.

Jenny Starr Perez is a graduate of La Salle High School and very well-known in both Miami’s fashion and music scenes. “The music scene is unpredictable and I think that fashion is like that too,” she said. “The combination of fashion and the rock-inspired element of this Neiman Marcus event is perfect. Both are unpredictable, and can be edgy and wild.”

On the fashion front, Perez describes herself as curvy and likes to wear outfits that are more streamlined and tailored – McQueen, Gucci and Valentino.

For music, she describes herself as a pop girl and ‘admits’ to liking Rihanna. She was also unaffected by the Miley Cyrus performance at the Video Music Awards. “I was not shocked. I thought it was a night at LIV for most 21 year olds.”

In the community, Perez gives her time to Dress for Success, an organization that works with unemployed women and men to help them dress appropriately for the job interview process.

Ashley Cahill Liemer is a familiar face to many in the Miami social scene. Married to Vista Worldlink’s Josh Liemer, she and best friend Stacey Galbut created Noble Uniforms, an apparel company that makes stylish and functional uniforms for employees and staff. She describes the brand as fashion forward and made with uniform fabrics that are durable and stand the test of heavy workmanship and long hours.

Her relationship with Galbut goes beyond business. The partners are best friends and neighbors and Liemer describes the association as more like family than business partners. “We fight like family and love like family,” she said.

Her musical preferences are eclectic and she joked that she tends to like what her husband likes.

In the community, Liemer supports events for the Perez Art Museum (PAMM) and has an affinity for arts groups in general.

Vanessa Dadaglio was recently engaged to the distinguished architect Alfred Karram Jr. “It was the most perfect proposal ever on the top of Aspen Mountain,” she said. “He had a photographer hiding. He got down on one knee on the edge of the cliff. It was flawless.”

Dadaglio defines her style as conservative, classy and elegant with a little bit of an edge. Valentino is her favorite designer and she loves black. Her favorite music is jazz and she is a big fan of Dexter Gordon and, of course, Old Blue Eyes.

Dadaglio is currently putting her non-profit efforts behind Fashionably Conscious, an annual fashion fundraising sale that benefits Coconut Grove Cares’ The Barnyard Community Center, an organization that provides free after school and summer camp programs for children with financial and domestic hardships. She also volunteers for the Miami Bridge, another organization that helps children.

The Sophisticate is a company she launched several years ago. The business is a couture consignment concierge service that provides white glove service catering to only the most sophisticated wardrobes.

Lauren Ann Wolfe brings the downtown Miami music and fashion vibe to Bal Harbour for this one-time-only event. The Orlando native can often be seen at music events at Grand Central, or jazz night at the Corner Bar.

Mixing her love of music with fashion, Wolfe launched a fashion brand several years ago named L.A.W. Fashion House (Lauren Ann Wolfe) and she has mounted shows of her original designs at Grand Central. While building her brand, Wolfe works in production having styled music videos and avant garde photo shoots. Additionally, the talented upstart is working with King’s Head Records, a Miami Beach music label representing several DJs.

For her personal style, Wolfe has a deep and thoughtful persona. Though she has trouble defining her choices, she will admit to having eclectic tastes and enjoys the process of mixing and matching different looks.

Franchesca Lozano is the daughter of one of Miami’s most social and philanthropic couples, Edgar and Nicole Lozano.

Currently a student at Miami Beach Senior High, the stylish senior is busy applying to colleges while she prepares to enter the Miami social scene with a debutante ball.

On the style front, Lozano loves boots and hats. She also likes trendy and ripped jeans. Her musical choices slant toward rap and hip hop with artists J. Cole and Wale being performers of note.

Later this season, her parents will be co-chairing the Miami Science Museum’s Galaxy Gala for the third consecutive year with Jon and Nancy Batchelor

Aramis Lorie is managing partner of Grand Central, a live performance venue in downtown Miami. Lorie is well-known for having produced events and concerts in Miami for more than a decade and is highly regarded in the nightlife scene.

For this Neiman Marcus music event, Lorie secured the LA-based female DJ duo Posso and added his mix of style to the overall theme.

A graduate of New World School of the Arts, Lorie has a wide palate of musical tastes, which dictates his programming at Grand Central.

His fashion choices include attire that conforms to his fast-paced downtown lifestyle and those choices typically revolve around comfort.
