Nicklaus Children’s Diamond Ball Postponed Until Spring 2022
Over the past 15 years, Diamond Ball has been, and continues to be, an important fundraiser to help children receive world-class pediatric care.
Each year, Nicklaus Children’s Health System looks forward to hosting our signature gala to raise essential funds for the patients and families of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Matthew A. Love President and CEO, Nicklaus Children’s Health System said in a statement. Over the past 15 years, Diamond Ball has been, and continues to be, an important fundraiser to help children receive world-class pediatric care.
In light of the surge of COVID-19 cases in our community, Nicklaus Children’s has decided to postpone Diamond Ball until Spring 2022. While this decision is not what the system intended, Love said it must prioritize the health and safety of our community and its children.
“We are eager to reschedule Diamond Ball as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we encourage you and your family to continue taking precautions to stay safe by masking up, washing your hands, social distancing and getting vaccinated for all those who are eligible,” Love wrote. “Thank you for partnering with us to help make Diamond Ball an extraordinary event.”
