Fashion Faves Late Night at Wall and Wet
On the top of the nightlife food chain is Michael Capponi, whose nightlife empire has evolved into real estate, philanthropy, politics and much more. His, and partner Michael Martin’s, Thursday night at Wall and Wet at W South Beach is one of the sexiest nights anywhere and the best place to examine the threads that the world’s chicest don for a night out on the town.
SocialMiami’s Sarah Arison was on the scene on a Thursday night in July to launch SocialMiami’s newest web series, produced in conjunction with the Capponi Group: Nightlife Chic. The ongoing fashion series is sure to be the sexiest content on the web, and an example for late nighters the world over to better understand the looks that make the Magic City the nightlife capital.

Allison Weiss Brady takes refuge in the Big Apple
Life has been good during this hot summer. Can you believe the heat – my goodness! I just step out of the house and I’m sweating. So Chip and I decided to beat the heat and jet up to NYC for some events with Russell Simmons, which was hot for different reasons.
Ever the proponent of enriching one’s self and well-being, Uncle Rush took me to a Bent-On-Learning charity event organized by the amazing Alice & Olivia designer Stacey Bendet Eisner. We sat with Donna Karan (the event was at the Stephan Weiss Studio at the back of her Urban Zen store), Gwyneth Paltrow (wearing a stunning Alexander Wang dress), Jessica Seinfeld (Jerry’s wife), and New York City’s schools chancellor, Dennis M. Walcott, who mentioned he was at the launch of one of my family’s foundation events at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
Nikki Beach Presents Sand Play Fashion
Nikki Beach hosted the smashingly successful S.P.F. – Sand Play Fashion – a series of beachfront fashion events during the 2011 Miami Beach Swim Week. Nikki Beach Miami’s signature monthly fashion event, What Women Want, took place on July 16. Guests enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of complimentary beauty services, delectable cake bites, and a delicious welcome cocktail. The fashion shows featured beautiful collections by ICandy Swimwear and Le Doux for women and the exciting line Fashion by Azucar and the casual chic Robert Graham for men.
Manny Fashion Week Swim: Wrap-Up
Manny Hernandez was on the South Beach scene for Swim Week, as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim was in town bringing a plethora of auxiliary events with it in a Basel-esque display.
