No More Tears Honors Five Super Women
No More Tears hosted the Heart in Hand Awards, bringing together Miami’s top influencers and most powerful women. The event, held at The Sacred Space in Wynwood, aims to spread awareness about human trafficking and domestic violence.
Belkys Nerey was named The Influencer; Criselda Breene The Philanthropist; Iran Issa-Khan The Artist; Rebecca Fishman Lipsey The Activist; and Tere Blanca The Pioneer.
The event raised funds to support No More Tears’ mission to save lives, and specifically to support and encourage victims of abuse and trafficking to become active, contributing members of the community. This event is very near to the heart for founder and president of No More Tears, Somy Ali. Somy is a former Bollywood actress and filmmaker, and also, a survivor of physical and sexual violence.
