Nwsa Claims Numerous Carbonell Awards
New World School of the Arts alumni and faculty were among the winning roster of the 34th Annual Carbonell Awards, South Florida’s prestigious recognition for best theatrical shows and performances in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. 34th Annual Carbonell Awards recognition for NWSA include: Gregg Weiner [BFA 1998], Elena Garcia [NWSA faculty], Gwen Hollander [high school 1998], David Hemphill [BFA 2009], Betsy Graver [BFA 2009] and Nick Duckhardt [BFA 2009].
