Poplife Social guests at Perez Art Museum Miami were treated to the tropical musical stylings of John Hancock III as they socialized on the terrace and enjoyed light bites from Stephen Starr Catering, including Miso Glazed Chicken Skewers, Pork Belly Bao Buns, Shrimp Chips and more. The more adventurous created their own art using canvas, found objects supplied by PAMM and tempera paint. Hancock, best known as the lead singer of Miami bedroom pop pioneers ANR (Awesome New Republic), makes tropical pop music for every season, ranging from spaced out Arthur Russell inspired grooves to hyped-up digital calypso. PAMM Third Thursdays: Poplife Social is the perfect place to unwind after a long day, enjoy live music and great food and drinks, view the exhibitions and spend time with friends – or make new ones.
