Pamm Receives Gift To Purchase Works By Latina Art
Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) received a $100,000 gift from Darlene and Jorge M. Pérez to acquire works by Latina artists for the museum’s permanent collection. The announcement was made by Darlene Pérez (pictured) during a recent program and conversation hosted at PAMM by the women’s empowerment organization Diamonds Unleashed by jewelry designer Kara Ross. The conversation, “Hispanic Women Disrupting Arts and Culture,” featured panelists: Teresita Fernandez, artist; Maria Buccellati, designer; and Lourdes Lopez of the Miami City Ballet, and was moderated by Lisa Petrillo, CBS.
