Sfhcc Honors Maria D. Tejera
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida CEO Maria D. Tejera with the Women of Leadership Award for her outstanding work in the community and commitment to serving as a role model for women. Tejera has served the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida for 26 years and is responsible for all aspects of the Council’s operations from overseeing volunteers and staff to fulfilling the strategic vision and goals of the Council.
