Miami Design District throws a performance party

Miami Design District’s May representation of its “Site Specific Performance Series” featured four acts that combined a multitude of performance disciplines.

The evening kicked off with a pre-performance cocktail reception at Louis Vuitton.

Arevalo Gallery hosted a special dance performance within the installation titled Sinuous Complexity, conceived by Dale Andree and danced by Thryn Saxon and Angie Lu. Rudi Goblen performed from his original show, PET. Broadway Musical Theater brought their Broadway musical revue to the Design District, and YoungArts Alum, saxophonist David Leon, concluded the evening with his jazz trio.

2014 Black Tie & Blue Jeans Dinner

Branches held its 11th Annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans Benefit Dinner and Auction at the Trump National Doral. Over 300 guests gathered to celebrate, dance and dine while raising resources needed to expand programs that offer life-changing opportunities for low-income children, youth and families.
